Better Built Construction Services, Inc. (Better Built) is a Native American, woman-owned firm that is DBE, S/DBE, MBE, FBE, and Ohio E.D.G.E. certified. Our experience base is broad and includes a Soldier Family Assistance Center, Medical Facilities, Laboratories, Army Reserve Centers, Training Facilities, Barracks, and Child Development Centers for USACE, NAVFAC, Army National Guard and VA. Our projects for the USACE have merited final overall evaluation ratings of 'OUTSTANDING' and 'ABOVE AVERAGE", an example of such being the Soldier Family Assistance Center. Our firm thoroughly understands the quality control, safety and reporting requirements necessary for a successful
project.

Better Built Construction Services, Inc. has successfully completed an SBA 8(a)Mentor/Teaming Partnership. Better Built has since become a teaming partner with local small business in an effort to enhance strategic business initiatives by sharing our expertise with others.

Our Better Built team has relevant experience working on design-build and design-bid-build contracts. SOLDIER FAMILY ASSISTANCE CENTER

This facility is designed to provide various services to soldiers and their families while the soldier is undergoing medical treatment. In­cluded are various offices, child activity room and outdoor play­ground, nourishment center, computer access room, storage rooms, reception area, and courtyard. The base scope of work for this LEED silver, design-build project is 16,200 s.f.

Training Support Center

This project consisted of the design and construction of a new Training Support Center (TSC) for Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The TSC is approximately 80,000 SF in size and is used to fabricate, maintain, store, and issue training devices such as the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES). This facility houses multi-purpose classrooms, simulation rooms and the administrative space for the training support division management staff, and includes warehouse space for device fabrication, general repair, storage, sensitive item storage (level 2 arms storage), maintenance and issuance of training devices and components.

Approximately 21,775 SF is designated for Administrative and Classroom areas with the remaining 58,265 SF dedicated to warehouse and shops. The approximate site area is 7.5 acres.
